1. About HappyPower and Wangfujing
HappyPower is an innovative brand that integrates green energy technology with social gaming experiences, pioneering the world’s first participatory behavioral energy economy.
Through modular play installations, we transform everyday play—jumping, swinging, climbing—into renewable energy. By building distributed energy playgrounds, we inject vitality, sustainability, and interactive fun into urban spaces.
Our mission is simple yet bold: To make play a new form of productivity.
The first pilot collaboration between HappyPower and Wangfujing is set in Wangfujing Haiken Plaza, Haikou, a 70,000-square-meter commercial complex in Hainan Province. Positioned as “a space to awaken the urban spirit,” the plaza targets trend-conscious young professionals and quality-conscious families.

Collaboration Background
In the post-pandemic era, Wangfujing Group acquired Haiken Plaza, a key commercial site in Haikou, with the aim of revitalizing foot traffic and reimagining commercial engagement. As a publicly listed state-owned enterprise, Wangfujing not only pursues economic outcomes but is also bound by ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance targets.
A core challenge: How to balance sustainability goals with the creation of compelling, high-impact public spaces and brand experiences.
In this project, Wangfujing Group provides financial support, prime location access, electricity, and property coordination, while the HappyPower team is responsible for equipment design, manufacturing, installation, and operational system development. The site is expected to officially open to the public by October 2025, serving as a landmark innovation within the Haiken Plaza ecosystem.
The project directly aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)—and echoes China’s 14th Five-Year Plan, which calls for the demonstration and adoption of green, low-carbon technologies. It presents strong policy relevance and potential as a national model.

2. Application in the Wangfujing Case
Pain Points in the Commercial District
Rising ESG requirements demand a clear path toward green transformation
Lack of innovative and sustainable methods to drive foot traffic
Target customers are increasingly drawn to immersive and participatory experiences
Our Solution
For Wangfujing, we custom-developed a multi-functional cluster of interactive installations that integrate green energy generation, social engagement, and brand activation:
Energy = Check-in: Immersive play equipment combined with interactive LED billboards encourage users to take on energy-generating challenges. Real-time community leaderboards spark friendly competition and boost viral engagement.
Interaction = Consumption: Players scan a QR code to bind their membership account, earning points through play. Points can be redeemed for vouchers or products—building a fun and sticky loyalty ecosystem.
Brand = Content: The installations serve as flexible platforms for branded campaigns—ranging from love confessions and fan shout-outs to timed challenges—creating immersive promotional experiences.
Green Energy = Asset: The equipment generates clean electricity that powers phone-charging stations, ambient lighting, and shared power banks, turning the plaza into a truly self-powered commercial zone.
3. Project Deliverables
Multifunctional Interactive Equipment:
Energy Conversion + Immersive Social Play + ESG Co-Creation
These play installations transform physical movement into electricity. The energy generated is directly linked to interactive billboards and digital displays, supplying renewable power for the plaza while creating dynamic, multifunctional engagement zones for consumers.
By blending green technology with playful interaction, the system not only enhances the on-site experience but also contributes to Wangfujing’s ESG performance—turning every moment of play into a shared act of sustainability.
Lightspeed Track

Lightspeed Track: A Playground Where Energy Meets Joy
The Lightspeed Track is a flagship product from our P-Beacon series—a micro urban energy station where people generate power simply by playing. Imagine kids and adults dashing around like happy hamsters, lighting up the entire community as they move.
This interactive track integrates compact solar “wings”, a vertical-axis wind turbine, and our signature HappyPower kinetic loop, combined with functional modules such as interactive ad displays, shared power banks, fast-charging ports, and motion-sensing power screens.
Every step taken inside the loop helps generate clean electricity, powering the plaza’s digital displays and charging devices. Solar and wind modules serve as sustainable energy supplements—eco-friendly, educational, and endlessly fun.
The P-Beacon Series: Core Play-Energy Devices Powered by Clean Tech
We’ve seamlessly embedded solar, wind, and human kinetic energy into our playground infrastructure—transforming public space into a distributed micro-grid. Beyond clean power, the system supports a carbon credit mechanism, enabling integration with local businesses and community events, and forming the foundation of a “play-to-participate” public energy economy.
Kinetic Wheel

Kinetic Wheel: The Centrifugal Force of Energy and Joy
The Kinetic Wheel is another flagship device in our P-Beacon series—a city-scale energy playground where you can generate power while you ride. Hop on the bicycle at the center and pedal to spin the wheel at high speed, releasing joy through centrifugal force while injecting electricity into the city grid.
This installation combines a vertical-axis wind turbine with a classic multi-rider kinetic wheel, equipped with interactive billboards, fast-charging phone ports, and motion-activated power screens.
Each revolution translates physical energy into electrical power. Children and adults alike fuel the advertising displays and charging stations with their pedaling effort, while the wind turbine provides a continuous clean energy supplement—turning play into a public lesson on energy and environmental stewardship.
Seagull Swing

Seagull Swing: A Personal Power Universe
The Seagull Swing is a flagship product of the E-POP series—an interactive device designed for solo play and power generation. With gentle swinging motions, users leisurely generate electricity, lighting up corners of the city with a soft glow.
The device consists of a power-generating swing and integrated lighting, equipped with fast-charging phone ports. Its sleek, agile design draws inspiration from Haikou’s sea breeze and seagulls, reflecting the local natural imagery.
Whether nestled in a quiet street corner at dusk, a compact exhibition space, or a calm spot on campus or within a community, the Seagull Swing waits like a small energy bird, ready to be awakened by the next electric motion.
